报告摘要:

abstract:Hybrid metal halides belong to a class of emerging optoelectronic materials that are highly tunable in structure and properties. The success of halide perovskite phases for solar cells and light-emitting diodes, has prompted us to explore deeper potentials and more applications for this large family of materials. Recently, the idea of utilizing chiral organic cations as either ligands or templates to self-assemble with emissive metals becomes a key direction which our group has been working on. Highly emissive transition-metal halides with non-centrosymmetric structures based on Mn(II) and Cu(I) are synthesized and characterized. The successful chirality transfer to the inorganic backbone prompt us to investigate their chiroptical properties, such as circular dichroism, circular polarized light emission and second harmonic generation. Alternative metal options such as Ge, Bi and Sb are of great interests because of their environmentally benign characteristics. Taking advantage of the sterically active lone pair of germanium and the interplay of ionic radii, we have developed a series of hybrid germanium perovskite and their two-dimensional derivatives, and investigated the structure-non-linear-optical-properties correlations. Using a series of cationic ligands with oxygen atom as the coordination site with alkali metals, we have synthesized a series of non-centrosymmetric double perovskite derived halides with non-centrosymmetric structures. Our work exemplifies the flexible chemical tools in pursue of new functional materials for a wide variety of applications.

 

报告人简介: 

  毛陵玲博士于2018年在美国西北大学获得无机化学专业博士学位,师从Mercouri Kanatzidis教授。2018年至2021年于美国加州大学圣塔芭芭拉分校材料研究院从事博士后研究,合作导师为Ram Seshadri教授和Anthony Cheetham教授,研究兴趣主要专注于新杂化材料的合成和表征,包括其构效关系和在光电器件当中的应用。近年来取得重要研究进展和成果,发表50余篇文章和获得一项美国专利授权,其中包括8篇第一作者论文发表在JACS(6篇为ESI高被引),独立建组后通讯作者论文发表在Angew. Chem. Int. Ed. (5篇),ACS Energy Lett.,Acc. Mater. Res. 等期刊,总引用超过5300次,h-index为25。所获奖项包括国家自费留学生奖学金(2017),美国西北大学杰出博士生奖(2018)等。2020年入选海外高层次人才计划青年项目,2021年加入南方科技大学化学系,任副教授。
